The sites include an email that has a logo of blue and yellow color that asks for donations to a humanitarian organization in US dollars and crypto. Donations in the name of children or buying new weapons for the military of Ukraine and many more.
These sites started emerging just a few days after the war took place. Russia’s invasion of Ukraine provided scammers to piggyback on a face covered with the mask of a charitable trust. In this hour of need people are trying to gather support for the Ukraine people but their money is not reaching the desired place. To stop this, what one can do is check the sites carefully that are accepting donations for Ukrainian. Do not open links and download attachments in unsolicited emails. Check on the history of the site that accepts donations, don’t go blind even if there is a well-known site in front of you to make sure everything is up to mark. Some sites accept cryptocurrency for donations, be careful before making any payment.
