The Observability Platform for Enterprises from LogicMonitor will be expanded in scale and scope thanks to Matthiesen’s product team leadership experience from Lyft, Twitter, and Salesforce.

Taggart Matthiesen has been hired by LogicMonitor, the top SaaS-based unified observability platform for businesses and managed service providers (MSPs), to serve as the organization’s new Chief Product Officer (CPO).

As CPO, Matthiesen will be in charge of product management, user experience (UX), and data science for the organization and its unified observability platform, LM Envision. He will be in charge of enhancing LogicMonitor’s capacity to offer businesses the complete visibility and insights they require to cost-effectively maximise the resilience, performance, and adaptability of their IT environments—crucial components for business success in today’s increasingly digital economy.

According to Christina Kosmowski, CEO of LogicMonitor, ‘Taggart has a proven track record for creating successful business and consumer SaaS product teams that combine in-depth technical expertise with the empathy to completely understand and anticipate consumers’ demands.’ ‘With Taggart joining LogicMonitor’s leadership team and directing product, we will be able to integrate innovations into our observability platform more quickly, continuing to position our clients for success in an ever-changing digital market,’ says Taggart.

Matthiesen comes to LogicMonitor from Lyft, where he served as Vice President of Products and helped to develop and oversee the company’s ambitions in autonomous driving. He formerly held product leadership roles in Lyft’s pay platform, identification and fraud, service and support, mapping, and Lyft for Business.

Matthiesen worked as a Group Product Manager at Twitter before joining Lyft, where he founded and oversaw the organization’s Data Product Group. Before joining Twitter, he served as Senior Director of Product at Salesforce, where he oversaw teams working on the company’s analytics and developer platforms.

Tools for observability have always been essential to creating and delivering excellent goods. ‘Observability tools are essential to delivering a resilient platform and providing the best possible user experience, from monitoring top-level metrics, such as ride requests and ETAs, to more detailed diagnostics and insights, like identifying fraudulent vectors or out-of-date turn restrictions,’ said Matthiesen. I believe the observability market has enormous development potential, and LogicMonitor has a special place there because of its outstanding staff and product.

Since taking over as CEO in January 2022, Kosmowski has continued to appoint seasoned executives to the LogicMonitor C-suite, most recently Matthiesen.

With the addition of Ryan Worobel as chief information officer, Nitin Navare as chief technology officer, Carol Lee as a chief financial officer, Will Corkery as a chief revenue officer, Alyene Schneidewind as chief performance officer, and Julie Solliday as chief customer officer, Kosmowski has continued to focus on developing the strongest executive leadership team in the unified observability market. The LogicMonitor leadership team is completed by Ryan Kam, Chief Marketing Officer, and Yvonne Schroder, Chief Legal Officer and General Counsel.
