About 50 innocent people are killed when a Russian rocket hits a railway station in eastern Ukraine. The Russian forces attacked Kramatorsk’s railway station and killed 5 children out of those 50 people. The railway station was the escape way for the people of Kramatorsk and many others so they could go somewhere to be safe. The statistics of wounded people are hitting about 300 people who got injured due to the strike. President Volodymyr Zelensky confirmed it by himself. And regional military administration head in Donetsk, Pavlo Kyrylenko said, “the wounded included 16 children, 36 men, and 46 women. And they were all taken to the local hospital for treatment.”
The news of hitting a railway station by a Russian forces Missile went viral in no time. This made everyone again sad with another bad news from the war. The local police of the area told, “the rocket that hit the station were struck at a temporary waiting room. The room was filled with hundreds of people then who were waiting there for the evacuation train.”
Zelensky, while addressing Finland’s parliament, said on Friday that the Russian Military hit Ukraine’s railway terminals. They have witnesses, remains of the rocket and dead bodies.
He was angry and asked for the loss that Ukraine is having every other day. He asked the lawmakers “why were those people who were crowded at the stations and were waiting for the trains so they could go to a safer place? Why was there any need to hit civilians with a missile? And what is the prominent reason for this cruelty that is faced in Bucha and Other Cities of Ukraine?”
The Mayor of Kramatorsk showed his anger as he said, “Russia gave another proof to the world that they are brutally and barbarically murdering Ukrainian civilians. They are only focusing on one aim and that is to kill”. He added, “during the last two weeks about 8000 people were visiting the railway station in order to evacuate. And when the missile hit the station as many as 4000 people were present there”.
According to Dmytro Kuleba, the Ukrainian Foreign Minister, this act was a deliberate slaughter. He stated, “Russia took advantage of crowded places and killed people there because they had prior knowledge that the place was being crowded for weeks.”
But Russia is not agreeing with the fact that they are behind this attack. By issuing a defence statement on Friday, Russia denies that they are the ones who are behind this. The missile whose remains were found in the railway station of Kramatorsk is from the Ukrainian Armed Forces. As they are the one who uses that kind of missile.
But this fact also can not be ignored that Tichka missiles, one of which was found at the railway station of Kramatorsk, were used by Russian and Separatist forces.
